Take a step back in time and learn some of the Abraham Lincoln history that is rooted in Lincoln. This replica courthouse was built for the Lincoln Centennial, in 1953, on the original location of the first Logan County Courthouse, which was used from 1840-1847. During this time, Abraham Lincoln served as a circuit-riding lawyer on the 8th Judicial Circuit. The original courthouse house was purchased by Henry Ford and moved in 1929 to Greenfield Village, Michigan.
