The Logan County Tourism Bureau Board of Directors announces an open recruitment for the position of Executive Director.
As part of its commitment to strong governance and the long-term success of the organization, over the past several months the Board has conducted a comprehensive review of the Executive Director position. Through this process, the Board updated the position's responsibilities and performance expectations to better reflect the Bureau's evolving role, strategic priorities, and vision for the future.
As part of this process, the Board has authorized an open and competitive recruitment for the Executive Director position.
This is an exciting time for the Logan County Tourism Bureau. With a new strategic plan under way and strong success in capturing state grants for Route 66 tourism, the Bureau is well positioned to build on its momentum and continue growing tourism throughout Logan County.
The Executive Director serves as the organization's chief administrative and operational leader, working closely with the Board of Directors, local governments, tourism businesses, volunteers, and community partners to advance tourism, support local economic development, and showcase everything Logan County has to offer.
If you are a collaborative leader with strong organizational skills and a passion for community development and tourism, we encourage you to apply.
Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. Deadline to apply is August 14th with an anticipated start date in September. Interested individuals should complete the job application form and upload a cover letter, resume, and marketing portfolio if available.
